Bedik

Categories: Ethnicities

The Bedik people are part of the Tenda ethnic group, closely related to the Bassari, Koniagui, Badyaran and Boin peoples. Their homeland is on the border between Senegal and Guinea, a geographically isolated area, so they are subsistence farmers who don’t raise crops for market. They practice slash-and-burn cultivation techniques.
